Jobs to do in April

1. Plant hardy perennials and shrubs.

2. Keep weeds under control while they are small.

3. Plant out sweet peas and support them as they grow.

4. Tie in climbing and rambling roses

5. Sow hardy annuals, herbs and wildflower seed outdoors

6. Start to feed citrus plants.

7. Feed hungry shrubs and roses.

8. Sow new lawns or repair bare patches.

9. Lift and divide overgrown perennials to make more plants and fill in gaps in the borders.

10. Keep ventilating greenhouses and check seedlings for water.
